FF15 vs BOTW discussion. I know completely different games

I know ff15 had such a long wait time and therefore huge hype, and people said it did well. Not the best ff game but decent. But after the first week, no one was talking about it it seemed. Compared to botw, it's still popular, everyone still talking about how great it is.

For someone who doesn't have that much time to play, is botw just a ridiculously good game that I should play compared to ff15? I also haven't recovered from the scar of ff13 when I loved 9,10, and even 12.

Then again I also didn't enjoy skyward sword.
