[STRATEGY] Caught this on Norsk global yesterday - is MM algorithm being actively tweaked?

(Side note Norsk global was so hot yesterday it was almost impossible to keep up with)

One of the legends on there said SC has been actively tweaking the MM algorithm, despite their published claim that they would be addressing engineering in the "near future".

He also said that their clan has had luck with engineered accounts that combine advanced TH levels with certain advanced defenses, balanced by extremely low offensive troop weights.

For example, a TH9 with maxed dragons but without even witches unlocked. A high level AQ but without even a BK built.

This is not a conversation about pro/con engineering. I'm more curious about whether or not people are already seeing changes to how SC is matching engineered clans. Just last war my casual 15v15 clan matched an Indo clan with 2 TH9-weight TH11s with max miners and LaLoon, vs our 2 10.5s, so I'm not sure whether things have gotten better or worse.
