Regular Crashes?

This sub seems pretty PC-centric, so my hopes aren't high, but I'm going to ask anyway. I just got Rocksmith remastered for PS4, and I can't play 5 songs without a menu freezing and forcing me to restart the game. By menus freezing, I mean I'll select an action (play song, play game, etc) and it will continue playing music and act like I haven't selected anything, but it will not progress beyond that point and it won't let me interact. Is there anything I can do? I'm fully updated.
