I know that I have social dysphoria, but I'm not too sure if I have physical dysphoria or not. Can y'all help me to figure this thing out?
I am absolutely positive that I have social dysphoria because I don't like what social roles I am literally expected to fulfill just because of the fact that I was assigned male at birth. I don't like to be treated like "one of the guys" as I prefer to be treated in a delicate, feminine, girly, fashion, like many individuals would treat your so called "average" cisgender woman.
I'm really not too sure whether or not this constitutes as physical or bodily dysphoria but I don't like my voice as it is far too deep for my liking (I'd like a high pitched, feminine, sexy voice). Then there is my face which I'm not too fond of because I think that I look to masculine. For example, I always just notice my brow bossing. Then there is my facial hair... I'd prefer not to have it.
Now, if I do have physical dysphoria, it's more than likely only mild (thank God!).
I'd like an opinion on this... I kind of figured that I have a problem with how others perceive me. What I mean is, via my voice, face and facial hair, I'd be perceived as a man, yet those are things I want to change.
The sand thing goes for my penis, in that I'm OK touching it and things, but I am very careful with it around others if that makes sense.
Do you think that my main problem is how others perceive me? I mean, do I sound like I have physical dysphoria? Also, just to clarify, and just so that I know for sure, what is "dysphoria"?
