Wifi connected but no data being upload/downloaded

Sometimes when I'm browsing/ using some online app, and I navigate to another link, the page just doesn't load even though I'm connected to wifi. When I switch off the wifi and connect again it works or If I switch between apps and comeback , then the page loads. Is this my router issue or something with the phone ?
