Identify a mushroom my dog ate

I need help identifying a mushroom that my dog ate today. She ate about half of one, I was able to get the other half out of her mouth. I think it is a puffball mushroom, but I would love confirmation to ease my worries.

Here are some pictures

• I live in southern Maine
• They were growing underneath a tree I have in the backyard. They are in very sandy soil
• About 5 minutes after eating half of one, my dog threw up twice. It looks like she vomited up what she ate, I could see the pieces of mushroom. I did call our vet immediately after and they didn't seem very concerned, especially since she seemed to throw it all up quickly after eating it
