Why CIG does not have private investors?

Some days ago Dual Universe Sci-Fi game receiverd 3.7$ milion form private investors. Considering Star Citizen has more expectation and more followers why don't they have these contributions? Do they reject them?

Dual Universe has also a crowfunding campaign. I know we are the investors.
