Anyone have experience with antidepressants?

I have panic disorder which is now agoraphobia. Refused meds at the start now two years later at my witts end with this. Keep seeing horror stories and good reviews too. Anyone have personal experience? I go to therapy too but it seems like It is not progressing fast.
