Kurt Russell is the same asshole in every movie I've seen him in. Am I the only one who can't stand this guy?

I don't believe in hating any artist/entertainer based on their work. Maybe Kurt Russell is the coolest guy ever. Idunno, I've never met the dude. Maybe it's not his fault, maybe after Big Trouble in Little China every time a producer wanted to cast an arrogant, out of place white guy who talks and acts like an 11 year old pretending to be an action hero, they were like "Oh, let's get Kurt Russell he'd be perfect"

Let's talk about Big Trouble in Little China. The movie opens with Kurt Russell, looking like he knows exactly dick about anything, driving a truck down some road and monologing into his radio like there are actually people tuning in just to hear his shitty advice and incoherent anecdotes about how tough he is. In my opinion, this scene really summarizes the way Kurt seems to act throughout every movie I've seen him in. Hateful Eight, same deal, same character. A guy who acts like he thinks he's wise and tough but actually he's just being a condescending douchebag to everyone in the room.

Literally every sentance out of his mouth makes me want to stick my face through the 4th wall and tell him to shut the fuck up and get the fuck out of my movie.
