Clavicle Crush - Clavicle Bone Contacting Upper Rib

Question

Hello, I hope this is the right subreddit to post in, I couldn't find any that are more related to bones and/or body movements. If you think there is a better sub please let me know.

I have an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) and I have some concerns about my body building habits. Basically, the pacemaker sits on my left pec about the muscle but below the skin, and the lead that is attached to my heart runs through subclavian venipuncture I believe (don't know what that means). There is a syndrome called Crush Clavicle Syndrome which basically means the lead that connects the pacemaker to the heart gets crushed and data can't be sent between the lead properly.

This occurs primarily in patients with subclavian venipuncture lead placement, though it's rare, more prevalent in bodybuilders. The mechanism of action here I'm told is movements that have the clavicle bone contact the upper rib which can wear down the lead. I love lifting heavy weights but have been advised to slow down because of these warnings.

My question is: what movements of the upper body cause the clavicle bone to make contact with the upper rib? I've heard military or overhead press are the worst but I'm very interested to hear what actual movements cause this phenomenon. Even if it's just a guess please try and help, again if you know of any subs maybe like a kinesiology sub or something that could possibly help. Thank you
