DRL sim issues

Sorry if this isn't the right subreddit.

I'm having issues with DRL:HV - I set up my Taranis Q X7 to work with the sim and it's going fine- except it keeps getting a small amount of left stick going left input- which I have set as roll. I'm constantly struggling to keep it going straight as a result. Deadzone set to max does not seem to alleviate it. Position on the stick itself seems to be slightly off center (49.7 instead of 50, which should be dead center), but I don't know that there's anything that I can physically do about that. When I set more aggressive curves, the issue is exacerbated. Any tips?

Edit: An additional issue has popped up that everytime I give it throttle, the game seems to detect my top left two position switch as toggling as well, which resets my map. Have attempted multiple times to remove & re-add controller. No change in anything.
