Did I actually hurt my narcs "true feelings" (if there is any Idk I'm not a psychologist, I fell for a narc)

I realized today, my narc will threaten to leave me if we get in a fight about me not doing what he says but he won't about me talking to my ex(happened a few months ago and I told him I stopped) or posting a picture of me in my exs car (Right now), he said he's upset and that it hurt him, but were only texting not having this conversation in person like usual. Is he actually hurt?
