ED With QuestBridge

Hi all, I'm going to be applying for QuestBridge, but I'm a bit confused about whether or not I can ED to a school if I opt out of the College Match program.

Although my financial situation is a bit tight, I don't think it would merit a full-ride from most schools, so I was thinking that I apply, and if I become a finalist, not send in any College Match applications, and then send in an ED application to my top-choice school through the Common App and forward my QuestBridge app to them as well. Is this allowed?

Also, which gives you more chance of being accepted: ED, or ranking a school for College Match?
