Finally back into bass fishing need help with Hook size

I recently got my new boat and I am finally getting back into it after 7-8 years of 0 fishing. I've been slowly relearning everything, it seems so much has changed over the past few years or at least there are way more options. I've been using basic Texas rigged worms, some frogs and Swimbaits. I'm about to order some Wooly HawgCraws 4" and some Wooly HawgTails 4.5". I had a few Hawgtails left over from years ago and was just screwing around with them. I ended up hooking up into a few nice ones at my local lake. I had just Texas rigged it with an EWG hook but not sure what size it was, since it was just in my tackle collection not in the original package. I just need a recommendation on the hook sizes and I need to be able to skin tuck it as the 2 lakes I go to primarily are very shallow, talking an average of 3-8 feet and loaded with weeds. The water in both is fairly dirty/stained any other suggestions on baits would be appreciated as well.
