Is my mom right?

My mom is telling me I shouldn't "start something I can't undo" and is suggesting androgynity as a stop-gap, because I didn't tell her when I was younger/she didn't notice. She says most of her friends who parent trans children knew at a very young age they were trans.

I want to be a girl, but I don't wanna be wrong, either.
