2014 PC Upgrade questions
Hello,
I made this PC after I got my first full-time post-college job in 2014. I've started to play games other than WoW and such lately, and have noticed I'm getting a bit sluggish performance, especially in games like PUBG, but even in WoW.
Here's my setup:

What is currently killing me, here? My guesses are RAM or the video card.
Why RAM? In BIOS, the RAM tells me that it is running at 1333 Mhz, when I thought it should be at 2400. PCPP tells me its due to voltage/compatability issues.
I usually play at 3440x1440, and I understand that it hurts at 75Hz, but I get dips in WoW that I don't think are warranted for what's happening on screen. I get that PUBG isn't well optimized and that I have an older card, and was seeing how I should look at upgrading that, if necessary, due to having a Freesync monitor. I'd be willing to go NVIDIA, I just don't know what I lose by going for that over Vega, ceteris paribus. For what it's worth, the video card is the newest part in the computer, as the 390x replaced a pair of 7970's (which was why the PSU is so hefty) . OR, perhaps, should I just do a fresh install of Win10 and hope it's just because of sluggishness in that dept?
