Passing through next week! If you only had a one hour stop to eat, where and what would you eat, and what one beer would you drink there?
I posted this in r/missouri but I thought I'd see what all of you thought as well!
I'm leaving next week for a road trip that will take me through St. Louis to Kansas City on I70, then up through the rest of the state along I29. I'll be traveling with my fiancée and we're hoping to cover our 1000 miles in a day. St. Louis is roughly our mid-point and we should reach there around 5pm. Any other tips/tricks/things we should see or look out for along our drive?
Edit: Thanks for the help everyone! Lots of options and you've helped us narrow down our choices. Hopefully we'll get the chance to really explore the city soon. (Possibly on our way back home) Also, sorry to the downvoters, I understand the downvotes. (Did this idiot even look at the sidebar?!?!?!) I should have mentioned that I did look at the side bar and I did dig up the 2017 favorite restaurant post. I'm sure, like my city, new things happen all the time. Something opens, something closes, you don't want to miss this or that, etc. I just wanted to narrow things down. Also, I wasn't just asking for food recs. As the original post also asked for any tips/etc (fake ex: there's a giant piece of the interstate missing right in the middle of I70) that would be a great tip to know about! Anywho, thanks again everyone! You're amazing!
