[Spoilers Main]: D&D should have waited with the development of the show until after the finishing of the books

After browsing this sub for an hour, I think a lot of people are starting to feel like this season feels rushed, plotlines are moving too quick, people teleporting across a 1000 miles, etc.

I understand there's the issue of budget, but I think it would have been better for the legacy of the show and the books if the parallels were clearer towards the end of the storyline. For readers that'll start with the books and show after both have finished, it will feel weird that suddenly the show diverts from the books after having followed it so faithfully for the majority of the first four season.
