I was promoted. Should I negotiated my new salary?

I was promoted to the next position higher.

I started the new responsibilities today, but I haven't gotten my new salary yet since my direct boss has been out of town.

When I am presented with my raise, should I negotiate?

My company is too small to get any info from Glassdoor unfortunately.

Any advice on how to approach this would be great.
