New to Bitcoin, Need some help/Have Questions.

Hey there fellow bitcoin enthusiasts. I have been a lurker in this sub for some time now and have been very interested in crypto currencies for a while now. I think its time for me to finally invest into some bitcoin and altcoins... but I have some questions.

I recently ordered a Ledger Nano S for me to store my bitcoin on, I did some extensive research and came to the conclusion that this would be the safest way to store my bitcoin. It is said to arrive in 1-2 weeks so I still have some time to figure things out.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could answer a few questions for me. My first question is where is the best place to buy bitcoin? and my second question is how do I get that purchased bitcoin transferred to my hardware wallet?
