Desparate need of MCAT advice

I've been lurking on this sub for quite sometime, but only now decided to post. As the title states im in need of advice, desperately. This curse of an exam has tormented me for the past 2 years. I took it the first time july 2015 without much prep (thought I was smarter than I really am) and I scored an astonishing 488 :'). I was quite upset by this and thus casted away all hope. fast forward a few months later and hope was restored. I began studying again in January 2016, but unfortunately personal life took a turn for the worst (I'll spare the details). July came around again and I decided that I should just trust the studying I have done and I retook the exam. Got a 492, leaving me very devastated. I was determined to improve so I spend the remainder of the year studying. My practice exams have not been that great however: 503 on both AAMC full length. I took the exam for the 3rd time 11 days ago (August 3rd) and now I can't help but feel like my luck will repeat itself. sorry for the long post, but my question is if my score does end up being bad, should I retake at the risk of being a 4th time taker? Should I trust in my skills that have proven themselves so invaluable? I'm not looking for an exceptionally high score. I'm aiming for a 506 max. Also I'm a URM if that matters; black male with a decent gpa 3.62. Maybe the carib is my only hope at this point. any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
