Fake ID taken

So basically, I walk into this liqour store with my fairy DE. I put the Smirnoff on the counter, she asks for ID and automatically says it's fake. She doesn't even bend it or check uvs and refuses to scan it. When I ask for it back she says she will have to call the police. I just don't understand how she knew + I used this store twice with my fake. Idek feels bad man.
