Quest Glitch, need help!

So I recently started playing No Man Sky again, I am working on my base currently. I completed my overseer's quest to hire a scientist, and the Technician quest to create a place for my Rover. I had to move systems and base locations to get my scientist.
Now the quest is telling me to return the previous system to turn in the overseer's, and Technicians quest. I Have returned and the quest marker leads me to the middle of space. I created a new base in my current system, nothing happened. My last idea is to go back to my original system and build a base there again. Any help on this would be appreciated.
