Does NASA have plans to utilize SpaceX landing technology in future planetary exploration missions?

Question

It seems like SpaceX is getting pretty damn good at landing rockets. Does NASA have plans to utilize SpaceX landing technology in future planetary exploration missions? It seems to be a safer, more reliable and more accurate technique than a sky crane and bouncing balloon.
