Seeking opportunities to Volunteer around PDX with my (well-behaved) 4 year old daughter

Hey All,

I'm currently seeking opportunities to do some volunteer work around Portland with my 4 year old daughter. Obviously, this limits the type of work we can do, but I want to get her started at an early age... Whether it's picking up trash (though, in a safe area, given the possibility of her picking up not-so-safe things) - or visiting retirement homes or other folks in need of human interaction... or whatever.

Is anyone able to point me in a direction where I might find these types of opportunities?
