Help with making a custom vintage replica jersey

For my grandpa's upcoming birthday I wanted to get him a custom made jersey that is a replica of his old high school baseball one. He graduated in 1954, so we are talking quite a while ago.

My question is, once i have all of the necessary uniform design info gathered up, how would you recommend I actually go about getting this made?

What places specialize is making jerseys that are from that era? I have seen Ebbets Flannels can made custom jerseys, but those go for $225, and I was wondering if there is a less expensive option out there.
