Try It Again or No?

About a year ago, I had a full course of TMS on the less common right side. It actually helped for a little bit, but then I had something happen a few months later that sent me back into a constant depressed state.

I've asked the same doctor if it would be worthwhile to try TMS again, but on the more common left side. Because they have a long waiting list, he's non-committal and has shrugged it off each time I mention it.

I've looked at other local TMS providers to approach instead, but I'm wondering if this reattempt, this time with the more common protocol instead, is even reasonable to ask for.
