Occasional lag when shooting

Has anyone experienced occasional hiccups when trying to time your shot? I'm wondering if it's my device or the game. When I say hiccups I mean a small amount of lag just enough to mess your timing up and force you to rage. Happens maybe 1 out of 3-5 rotations between swings.
