Mouse issues in Starcraft Remastered

I am running starcraft remastered on a mac book pro with a logitech g502. In starcraft, the mouse does not work at all. It jitters randomly and is completely unusable. The trackpad however works exactly as it should. Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
