Cat all of a sudden HATES my wife after move

My cats is a healthy three and a half year old male and I got him back in 2014. He's very needy and the type of cat everyone will get sick of before he gets sick of you. As a kitten I doted on him to the point where he needs me constantly.

Fast forward to a year ago when my wife and I moved in together. He seemed to be OK with her. He followed her around as much as he follows me around.

We just moved into a new place two months ago. He adjusted quickly and everything seemed to be normal until a few days ago.... She'll walk into a room and his ears will go low to his head and he just watches her, I'll finish petting him and she'll slowly reach over to pet her as well and once her hand touches him he'll start to growl and then swat, She'll sit down and he'll come over and sit next to her and start swishing his tail, I'll sit down and he'll rub against me trying to get me to pet him.

I don't know whats up, He's eating, drinking, playing with my other cat, litter pan is being used and everything looks normal, his belly feels fine & he's never hiding.

She's not an animal abuser, she's not rough with him... The only thing I can think of is that shes from France. Maybe the accent or language could be offensive to him?

He's never had an issue with anyone so this is really weird. He LOVES kids and people of all genders and colors so he's not scared of anyone but as of late he has it out for her.
