Questions about my "new" 2010 mini

So I just picked up a 2010 mini to get around town in since the 69 mustang hasn't done me any favors in the fuel economy dept. and wanted to get some input from those familiar with the car.

I don't know much about it yet, so forgive me if I leave out any details.

First of all, I can figure out how to connect my iPhone 7 to play music while charging. The USB port will charge but says "error" when I select it as an audio source. I also have the phone paired for making calls, but can't seem to get music to play over bluetooth...is this possible?

Second, the car has 67k mi. on it and honestly feels like it's running petty great right now. Is there any notorious problems I should look out for with these cars? Any tips to keep it running well or things I should know in general?
