NPCC & Police Now
So we all joke about Ms May and her Husband regarding shares in G4S. I think that's long since proven false. BUT, how much do we know of our own senior officers? The National Police Chiefs Council emerged from ACPO (a limited company).
I can't seem to find any listing for the NPCC but ACPO received millions over the years and seemed to be quite flush on their returns. I don't know if there's any correlation that can be drawn from the rise in Driver Education courses and the instruction from the NPCC that more drivers are to be sent on them?
Police Now on the other hand is relatively new with some interesting directors. There are two Police officers aged around 27 years listed as directors, one of whom left 18 months in but retains a directorship. Another director is DAC Helen Ball formerly in charge of the Anti Terrorist Command.
It just seems more than a little odd to me that serving Police Officers (probationers)/ a DAC are promoting a graduate entry scheme.
Should I take off my tin foil hat or is there more to this?
