When discussing the basement tapes, Sue said "He (Dylan) and Eric were preposterous, posturing, giving a performance for each other and their invisible audience" (pg. 134).

This lends creedence to the idea that the Eric and Dylan seen on April 20th, 1999 were actors who were playing characters they'd created for themselves apart from who the boys actually were.

Do you believe that Reb and VoDKa were characters created for dramatic effect, or were Eric and Dylan acting normal for their friends and family only to revert back to their actual inherent "monster" personalities?
