Hulkbuster needed a bit more firepower.

I appreciate the extra firepower however I don't think I've ever had the thought "this needs more stud shooters" cross my mind about any set.
Well I picked up a small nexo knights set and it had two flip up shooters. I loved that function so I just had to incorporate it into something else! Did you see the second picture with them concealed? When they are down they kind of double as a jet pack of sorts.
This just screams to be painted black or dark grey and have even more gear attached to it.
Yea, something like the heavy duty hulkbuster armor! Too bad the "helmet" piece is mostly red. I don't know if I could bring myself to paint any of my lego though.
If I were to build a War Machine style variant of the Hulkbuster, I would probably go with an exposed head design like in 76077. The silver mask is a very cool piece to look at, and creates a nice contrast with the size of the whole thing, reminiscent of WH40k Dreadnoughts. With enough dark backdrop it wouldn't even be this noticeable.

You may have just given me my next project. That does sound awesome! I did very much enjoy that set, though I gave him a better chainsaw.
Cool, I suggest reading the 2009 War Machine series for some inspiration. Crazy stuff is going on there with Rhodey's suit.
