Synapse issues

So I went to fiddle with synapse recently and change my deathadder lighting settings, but synapse decided to just.... not work. This it what it looks like in the window http://prntscr.com/g9rauu And whenever I try to click anything two black boxes appear in the top-right and I can't do anything, or move the window. Nothing about it works, all I can do is end the process :/ I uninstalled and reinstalled synapse and the issue persists.

edit: the mouse is working, it's synapse that's the issue
