When to follow up after interview

Post-interview

I recently interviewed with a company, and a week later had a follow up with the CEO. He mentioned that he would love to have me on board and briefly gave me information on their insurance/employee policies, etc...(they are a small business, so things are a bit different there compared to most corporations). I'm assuming they're wanting to give me an offer since he went into details about employee policy and his interest.

I asked for some whitepages regarding more insurance/employee information, and I had to call him twice and both times he forgot who he was talking to until halfway through the call. He did eventually send the info a few min after the second time I called him.

Depending on what insurance policy I go with, it'll affect my salary there. Now, I'm assuming I'm just waiting on the offer from them.

My question is how often should I follow up? I don't want to come off desperate or obnoxious, but I'm really anxious to get started if they choose to hire me, and it seems like constantly reminding them about myself seemed to get me my information quicker from them.

Any advice would be awesome.
