Credit Card Wrong Number

I just applied to a credit card, and when the bank searched info under my phone number, someone else name comes up. I have also received calls from creditors on at least a weekly basis. As it turns out, this particular person used to or perhaps currently lives very nearby where I currently live. So how do I fix this, so that my credit score isn't affected, and I stop receiving calls, there isn't any possible confusion in the future? Who do I call to fix this??
