19m in college, no savings, minimal expenses. Where do I start?

Saving

Currently enrolled in a community college liberal arts AA program, and this semester is paid for. I want to start saving money for next semester.

I currently work for a grocery store chain that will match up to 6% of my income, but I have no been contributing. That was one of my biggest mistakes. Starting today, I will start contributing 6% of my income to the 401k account through Principal.

I'm living with my parents and they aren't charging me anything to stay here while I go to school. They cover my phone bill, car insurance, and that leaves me with only having to pay for gas and food occasionally.

I'm currently making 10.50/hr working 30-40 hours a week. My YTD Gross wage is $10,143.62 and my checking account balance is 332.90.

That way I see it is I'm wasting a great opportunity to be saving money while I'm in the situation I'm in.

You've seen it all before Reddit....so where do I start?

Edit: I guess I left out the most important part. I have a bad habit of just blowing my money on food, video games, and things that will have no return in life for me. How much should I start saving with my income?
