Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco threw 39 pitches in the first inning and gave up 0 runs.
I know it's kind of random, but is there a record kept for this kind of stat? It seems pretty unusual to push 40 pitches for a single inning while not giving up at least 1 run.
Edit: Credit to redditor No32:
10 pitches ending in a walk for Dozier
6 pitches ending in a single for Kepler
6 pitches ending in a single for Mauer to load the bases
8 pitch strikeout of Sanó
6 pitch strikeout of Rosario
3 pitch groundout from Escobar
