Two Rigid Tanks Connected by a Valve

Hi guys,

In this question: https://gyazo.com/1b33c90baf8cd3a95755b5a887d3d0b3

I'm confused about how the final pressure is calculated.

In the first state, the specific volume in tank A is 0.11 m^3 /kg, which makes it a saturated mixture at T = 200 celsius.

  1. How do we calculate the final pressure in both tanks without using the ideal gas law?

  2. For part (d) would the total work done be the final pressure times the volume moved from tank A to tank B?
