[Request] [Steam] EU4

Hi,

The game I am requesting is Europa Universalis 4.

What is the game about?

This is a historical, real time(?), strategy game by Paradox. It takes place during 1444 to 1821. You take control of any nation during that era, and attempt to lead them to greatness.

Why do I want this game?

I love history, especially the era that this game takes place in. I love the European politics, the colonisation, and the looming Ottoman threat. I like the forming of Germany, Great Britain and Russia. And this game allows me to not only play through these events, but alter them. I would love to attempt to win England the 100 years war (Which I have heard is difficult), or save Constantinople from the Ottomans (Which is also apparently difficult), and this game allows me to do that.

I also love roleplaying. In EU4, instead of Role playing a character, I will be able to role-play a country. I can imagine grudges lasting the entire game in EU4, and friendships too. Perhaps I will have to defend against the French menace, or show those despicable catholics to reject the Pope (Disclaimer: Not my actual view point). I love getting into character, and I feel this game will allow me to do that.

Also, I love strategy. I love the feeling when you out manoeuvre your opponent and they don't even know it yet. While I doubt EU4 will be exactly the same, I'm sure I will get the same feeling when winning battles and annexing opponents. And I'm sure it will be fulfilling when I see whatever country I'm playing fill the map.

The final reason I want this game is because it looks fun. It seems to have 100s of hours of content from playing each country, and getting all the achievements.

The game has a tonne of DLC, but I will be fine with just the base game.
