I'm at work. The power has been out for almost an hour and I have an hour and a half left to sit here before I go home. AMA!

Someone said a transformer blew across the street and that it "looked pretty cool."

People keep walking into my office to ask how I have power since my lamp and laptop are plugged into a battery backup.

It's less exciting than it sounds.

edit* Power came back on and I'm about to drive home in a few minutes. I can answer more exciting questions about my super average life when I get home if anyone wants to ask anything. If not, thanks for giving me a few minutes of entertainment in the darkness of my office.
