Inconsistencies in getting OS to boot.

For the past couple months or so, I've been having issues with getting Win 10 to boot after the UEFI start sequence. I'm having a feeling it's related to the light OC on my 6700k, but am unsure where to start troubleshooting.

• Returning all motherboard settings to stock produces the same problem. Auto voltages, auto clock speed, etc.
• Same issue persists with stock memory speeds well as increased speeds.
• Noticed that changing the power settings in Win10 from "High Performance" to "Balanced" quickly causes the entire system to freeze. Restart button on the tower doesn't work, only way to restart is a hard power down.
