Is picking the Broncos 2 70ovr players the smartest move? Especially for no money spent players.

I'm on ps4 so I don't have the game yet but I noticed a youtuber showing the 80-81 Champ Bailey set and the free token is a Broncos one but Champ can receive any silver token to upgrade.

I was thinking the smart move would be to select the Broncos, keep Champ at 80 for now and boost either DT or Chris Haris jr to a 75 using the collectable.
