Is there a specific timing to do the Auto-Q-Tiamat combo?

I've noticed that at lower attack speeds, when I try to auto-q-tiamat very quickly, the tiamat doesn't go off for whatever reason. I play with around 40 ping, so I'm not sure whether there's a ping issue or if there's a specific timing.
