Farewell /r/asktransgender
I decided to go all out and just get this over with. I flushed my stash of DIY hormones down the drain aside from my Finasteride, I got all my hair chopped off into a crew cut, and I plan on blocking this and other trans-related subreddits after today.
It's a weird mix of sadness and liberation. Maybe if I didn't have a mom that was religious I could've started at like 14 instead of 20, but that's not reality. 10 months in, no hips, obviously they're already fused. No anything really, I only look slightly different. I look at things like my tall stature and male digit ratio and think I was meant to be a man. So I'm gonna try to be that.
20 might be soon enough for some people but certainly not me. We're not all late-puberty-look-like-we're-fourteen-at-twenty transitioners, the average 20 year old AMAB person has already developed into a man.
So here's to manhood I guess, gonna try to make the best of it.
