Actions speak louder than words, or more appropriately, POLICY speaks louder than PRESS RELEASES!!

"We join our voice with all who come together to foster a community of inclusion in which no one is mistreated because of who they are or what they believe." http://www.mormonnewsroom.org/article/church-statement-love-loud-festival

Sorry TSCC, nobody believes you. Maybe you'd have some credibility if you didn't enact and double-down on policy that does the exact opposite of fostering a "community of inclusion" and happens to be a major contribution to recent LGBTQ teen suicides! Excluding a child from full church participation because who their parents are is definitely mistreating someone "because of who they are or what they believe." And don't even get me started on the gay marriage = mandatory disciplinary council, rape = possible disciplinary council issue.

"A natural or adopted child of a parent living in a same-gender relationship, whether the couple is married or cohabiting, may not receive a name and a blessing...may be baptized and confirmed, ordained, or recommended for missionary service only as follows:...approval from the Office of the First Presidency...specifically disavows the practice of same-gender cohabitation and marriage...The child is of legal age and does not live with a parent who has lived or currently lives in a same-gender cohabitation relationship or marriage."

"apostasy refers to members who...are in a same-gender marriage" https://www.scribd.com/document/288692551/Changes-to-Mormon-handbook

This will overshadow any good PR they were hoping to get out of their statement.
