OC Transpo more strict about passengers not paying/tapping?
Usually during the summer people jump on the bus without tapping or paying (on the long bus) and the drivers usually shrug it off.
Twice in the same week I have witnessed drivers screaming at passengers to come to the front to prove they tapped or have a transfer. Though, one of the drivers quietly walked up to a woman to ask her to pay for a transfer. She was very offended and called out any other passengers who jumped on and didn't tap or have a POP.
Does anybody know why OC Transpo has become more strict NOW compared to previous years?
