Is this clinic work/how could I argue it is?
So currently I'm working for an organization funded by the government called Chrysalis. It's kind of a hospice thing for people with mental disabilities including autism/cerebral palsy/schizophrenia/etc. Basically, I want to know if there is any way I could argue this is clinic work even though it's not in a hospital environment. However, I'm also a paid employee so I couldn't really put this down as volunteering or community service. I know it's debatable on whether people working in hospice at all is a "clinical environment" or whatever. Here's what I could think of to argue that what I'm doing is.
-I work with hands on with these people, including helping them go to the bathroom, helping them shower, supervising them wherever they go, etc.
-I have to know all there is to know about the various medications for their mental and physical conditions, as well as keep a log of them.
-I work with some 1 on 1 with excerizes to help their problem solving and social skills.
-I keep a behavior log, and make notes on their good/bad behaviors, as well as work with a behaviorist to help accommodate future exercises to better their behavior.
I know this isn't a traditional setting but I do enjoy working there so I was wondering if there is any way I could sell it. Thoughts?
