QoL Suggestion - Date Text Affixed

I'm not sure if anyone else would find this idea useful, but I'd like it if the date weren't part of the right slider pane. Narrow the Kittens Game Menu header slightly, make a fixed spot below it for the date so it is always visible yet not obtrusive.

Also, is there a way to hide specific resources for mobile?
